Nursery Manager

I have worked for Evolution Childcare since 2005. I went on to complete my NVQ level 3 in early years childcare in 2007 and shortly after that was promoted to a Room Manager at The Stables. Since starting at Evolution Childcare, I have received extensive internal training which has provided me with the knowledge and understanding of how different children learn and develop. I became promoted to Assistant Manager in October 2013 during this time I became involved in staff training providing staff the support that they needed within their own job roles. I have worked closely with each manager within the group to obtain knowledge of different management styles. In October 2015 I was further promoted to Nursery Manager of The Abbey Nursery School in Weaverham. My time at the Abbey was short but I was able to obtain skills in marketing and opening a brand-new setting. I have had the opportunity to be part of the management team within each nursery and I am looking forward to beginning my next chapter at Newton House.



Assistant Manager & Pre-School Room Manager

I have worked in childcare since 2005 in various settings, and roles. I began my career as a nursery practitioner and then went to work abroad, as a holiday kids rep, for Thomas Cook. During my time there I lead the kids club and the mini discos on cabaret nights, I was also responsible for hosting welcome meetings. On my return after 2 successful seasons, I continued my love of travel and went backpacking around Australia, South East Asia and New Zealand. Whilst in Asia I visited schools, temples, and hospitals to experience the culture further. On my return I continued my career in childcare working my way up from a childcare practitioner position to a room leader, and then achieving the position of deputy manager. I have continued my training throughout this time participating in forest school classes and keeping up to date with new concepts.
